Led by a credentialed professional holding CPA.CITP, CFE, MSCIS, MCSE, MCP designations, along with an AAS and BBA in Accounting & Finance (minor in Business Law), a JD, and an LL.M., our founder brings unmatched real-world experience spanning more than four decades.
His journey began in 1981 programming on the TRS-80, continued as a Computer Lab Technician throughout the 1980s, supported major bank mergers and banking systems in the early 1990s, and included work as an Investment Accountant specializing in master-feeder institutional funds for a large investment administration company in Wilmington, Delaware.
In 1996, he received his SSL certificate from VeriSign through their pioneering partnership with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). That same year, he became a member of the newly organized Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) Silicon Valley Chapter. From 1996 to 2005 in Silicon Valley, he assisted technology companies with designing custom accounting systems, burn-rate analysis, repairing corrupted accounting databases, and recovering critical financial data files — including high-stakes work for the CFO of K-2 Optronics and worldwide financial consolidations for multi-national clients.
He was a member of the Wharton Club of Northern California (1999–2002) and a member of the Microsoft Certified Partner program in the Enterprise Software Deployment division from 1999 through 2005. In 2007, he was one of the first CPAs to earn the prestigious AICPA CITP (Certified Information Technology Professional) credential.
